I made the first one for myself.

Makyr Studio started as a hobby. I was building these shadow boxes just for me — framing the things I thought were funny or worth keeping: love, money, motivation, a good bad joke, all sealed under glass and labelled with a straight face. Enough people saw them, asked where to get one, and wouldn't accept "I made it" as an answer — so now I make them for other people too.

Nothing about the process changed when it turned into a shop. Each piece still starts as an idea for how to frame something intangible, gets built by hand — the element, the vial, the definition, the warning label — and sealed into a deep shadow box. Made to make you laugh, then look twice.
